Sow bugs look like pill bugs, but they’re flatter, have 2 little tail points and can’t roll into a ball. They’re land crustaceans with 7 pairs of legs.
They live under boards, mulch and leaf litter and eat decaying plants. When they show up in numbers inside a Burnaby home, it’s a sign of damp spots near the foundation.
Pest Boss handles sow bug control across Burnaby. We treat the perimeter and help fix the moisture.
Give Pest Boss a call if you’re seeing any of these:
- Flat grey bugs in basements, garages or entryways
- Bugs under pots, boards and mulch against the house
- Lots of them after heavy rain
